- The Use of Complex Approach to Geotechnical Monitoring of Monuments of History and Architecture

Abstract. To preserve architectural monuments, Astrakhan Kremlin in particular, it is important to conduct the geotechnical monitoring. It is proposed to use geophysical methods of soil investigation for the purpose of detection of the character dynamic of processes taking place in the foundation of this historical monument. It makes it possible to predict the results of anthropogenic impact on the object.

- Improvement Of Methodical Approaches By Calculation Of Constructive Systems On Survivability At Sudden Beyond Design Basis Effects

Abstract. Criteria of the survivability of frame reinforced concrete systems at beyond design basis effects are considered. Methods of the calculation on the basis of a non-ordinary mixed method for determination of survivability criteria are presented. Formulations of the terms "structural safety" and "survivability" of structural systems are given. The conclusion about methods of improving the stability of frame reinforced concrete structures at beyond design basis effects is made.

- Modeling of Pile Foundation as a Nodal System with Pair Interaction

Abstract. The method of modeling of a pile foundation as a system of elastic links on the square nodal mesh, covering the basement surface is proposed. Each node has an elastic support modeling the deformations of ground compression at vertical movement of the node and the system of vertical spring linkages with adjacent nodes modeling the shear deformation of the ground. Characteristics of the stiffness of elastic links securing the model adequacy are established. The comparative analysis of modeling results obtained with the use of different methods is made.

Abstract. A way of protection of concrete at the stage of preparation from the damaging effect of water with the use of waterproofing compositions on the basis of organotrialkoxysilanes, which allow to reduce the water absorption of concrete in 3-4 times is offered. This approach develops a system of views on the substantiation of measures aimed on the increase of the stability of functioning of buildings and constructions made of concrete and the conservation of their initial technical and operational qualities under conditions of influence of affecting factors of the sources of emergency situations of natural character.

- Physical Processes Occurring in Concrete Hardening in Hot Climate

Abstract. Results of the study of physical processes occurring in the concrete structures built under conditions of a hot climate are presented. In particular, the formation of a temperature field and deformations in structures of different massiveness constructed of concrete mixes of various compositions including those with the addition of plasticizers. An unambiguous height change in temperature of fragments of different massiveness is established. The prevailing influence of the concrete expansion at an early stage of curing in comparison with other kinds of deformations is revealed. Recommendations making it possible to exclude or reduce the undesirable deformations of concrete are stated. In particular, it is proposed to insulate the formwork or to heat the concrete additionally for the purpose of reduction of non-uniformity of a temperature field.

- Determination of Optimum Geometrical Parameters of a Flat Raised Rib Conveyor Belt

Abstract. Methods of calculation of raised rib conveyors and also a technique of finding of their optimum parameters for economic benefit achievement are considered. As an example the calculation of a flat raised rib belt is presented. The algorithm of the same type can be also used for calculation of other types of conveyor belts, for example, with longitudinal boards, scraper or belt and chain conveyors. The methods of calculation of stresses in loose goods and calculation of the distribution of pressure on the rib and the belt are in the basis of this method. This method can be easily realized at the industrial enterprises by means of composition of computer programs.

- On the Issue of Accuracy of Measurement of Distances

Abstract. An addition to the known method of indirect way of measurement of distances in the form of the mathematical variant of definition of unknown distances is offered. At the same time, the process of solution of the task of distances definition is made significantly easier; the result of its accuracy is improved at significant reduction of time of work under the field conditions.
