Abstract. In Russian, Kazakh and European standards, the question of calculating the moment of inertia of beams with a corrugated wall for pure torsion remains open. This parameter is used to calculate I-beams for overall stability from the wall plane. This paper presents the results of calculations of the moment of inertia of the cross-section of an experimental I-beam with a cross-corrugated wall for pure torsion and the moment of inertia for pure torsion of such a beam as a rod element, taking into account the support ribs that create a mode of constrained torsion, limiting the deplaning of sections according to various methods (as an I-beam with a flat wall; analytical and empirical solution by A. N. Stepanenko, which takes into account the parameters of the corrugation of the wall; numerical solution in the LIRA-SAPR software package as for a beam made in the form of a spatial system of plate elements) and comparison with the results obtained by the authors experimentally. To carry out this study, an experimental stand was developed and implemented that allows, in the mode of pure torsion, to fix the angle of rotation of the end section of the cantilever corrugator depending on the torque, followed by recalculation of this value into the value of the moment of inertia of the beam for pure torsion. Three experimental samples of corrugated tubes with a sinusoidal wall were subjected to tests.
Key words: gofro-beam, overall stability of the beam from the wall plane, moment of inertia of gofro-beam for pure torsion. - REFERENCES
