    Abstract. The results of experimental studies of the work of the berth structure, which is a vertical wall made of metal sheet piling (bolverk type) on its physical model when exposed to wind waves, are presented. This work is a scientific support for the project of the berthing embankment of the Terminal of liquefied natural gas and stable gas condensate "Utrenny", which is being built in the harsh Arctic conditions of our country. The experiments were carried out using the latest measuring equipment and unique laboratory equipment. Based on the analysis of the conducted studies, recommendations were developed for the appointment of the optimal elevation of the surface part of the projected mooring structure. The results of the work will make it possible, when implementing the Terminal project, to minimize the risk of its accident and ensure trouble-free operation of the berth, which will enable the continuous shipment of liquefied natural gas and stable gas condensate at the oil and gas condensate field.
