    Abstract. Modern tendencies in urban planning dictate the necessity to take a look to the problems concerning implementation of digital economics, in the field of civil construction and urban planning including. In this regard, the issue of interrelated modeling of the life cycle of a construction object is of particular relevance. Currently, BIM-technology is promising in relation to a specific construction object, but not to the territory of its location. The article proposes the information model for execution of the project of territory planning with the use of elements of geo-information simulation aimed at increasing the quality of urban planning solutions, providing the connection of stages of urban desing and working documentation inside the life cycle of the construction object. The project of territory planning of the educational center executed in accordance with the developed information model is presented; possibilities of modern software for the introduction of BIM-technology in urban design are analyzed.
