Abstract. A girderless slab, due to its many advantages, is the most common option for reinforced concrete monolithic floors in industrial and civil construction. However, in seismically hazardous areas, the possibility of using this type of plates is limited due to their lower strength and rigidity than that of a beam floor. One of the weak points of flat plates is the junction with the column, which is simultaneously exposed to vertical load and bending moment. The article provides an overview of domestic and foreign regulatory documents, as well as scientific papers on the calculation and design of coupling nodes of girderless floor slabs. Calculation methods and various theoretical models of the operation of nodes under the action of seismic and vertical loads are presented. There is a different level of research on the issue under consideration in our country and abroad, which leads to limited use of girderless floor slabs or even their impossibility. In part, this is expressed in the replacement of calculation formulas for assessing the bearing capacity of the interface node with design requirements that do not have significant justification.
